Marinus Link Pty Ltd (MLPL) is jointly owned by the Australian, Tasmanian and Victorian governments.
MLPL is responsible for progressing the Marinus Link interconnector project.
In February 2025, the governments issued a jointly developed Statement of Expectations to MLPL
The Statement provides further guidance on the purpose, role and activities of MLPL. In conducting its business in accordance with the Statement, MLPL’s strategic direction will be aligned with the governments’ objectives for the construction, ownership and operation of the Marinus Link and support each government’s commitments to renewable energy and energy security.
