Marinus Link has created the Community Grants Program to support community initiatives in the communities along the proposed project alignment in Victoria.
Who can apply?
The Community Grants Program is open for registered, not-for-profit organisations, who demonstrate that their project/initiative aligns to Marinus Link’s Sustainability Framework.
How to apply
Completed applications should be emailed to team@marinuslink.com.au and include ‘COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATION’ in the email subject line.
Important Community Grants Program Information
- Applications through the Community Grants Program will be received and assessed by the Marinus Link Team.
- Applications can be submitted at any time until 11:59pm, Friday, 27 June 2025, unless the available funds for the Community Grants Program are exhausted before that date.
- We receive many requests and are unable to support all requests, even if they meet our assessment guidelines.
- We consider a number of internal factors when reviewing applications, including the resources required to deliver the partnership, opportunities for community engagement, alignment with Marinus Link’s Sustainability Framework and the compatibility of other funding partners.
- We carefully assess each request against our criteria, and it can take up to four (4) weeks for us to process your application and get back to you. If we need more detail about your proposal, we’ll contact you using the information you provide.
- Marinus Link reserves the right to refuse to consider an application if Marinus Link, in its sole discretion, considers that the applicant does not meet the Community Grants Application Criteria.
- Once the available funds for Community Grants Program have been exhausted and Marinus Link commences project construction, Marinus Link will not be in a position to approve additional applications.
- Successful applicants will be required to enter into a formal grant agreement with Marinus Link. The grant funding is subject to the applicant entering into the grant agreement. Successful applicants will also need to provide a project/initiative evaluation and acquittal, which will help to inform its annual reporting of the Program and to participate in various promotional and media opportunities, as requested by Marinus Link.
