The Marinus Link team is interested in meeting the community and answering your questions about the project. Feedback from the community helps inform our project design and construction considerations, and the development of environmental, cultural heritage, social and economic impact assessments.

Both formal and informal community consultation opportunities will be offered throughout the project. Our latest updates and events will be made available here.

Recent in-person engagements

Marinus Link’s Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Effects Statement (EIS/EES) and draft Planning Scheme Amendment (PSA) were on public exhibition from 31 May – 12 July 2024.

We hosted drop-in sessions throughout Gippsland (VIC) and the Burnie area in North West Tasmania to answer questions and provide information on the documents and approvals process.

For those who couldn’t attend in-person, we also hosted two webinars and have made a recording available here.

How we’ve engaged

Our Summary Community and Stakeholder Engagement reports detail how we engaged between 2018-2023. It outlines what we heard and how we have used this feedback.
